The Waipuna System is specifically designed to control soft tissue vegetation at, or around, kerb and channel, footpath edges, driveways, boundaries, obstacles, parks gardens.

To achieve this control, Waipuna's patented system pumps superheated Hot Foam onto the targeted vegetation at a precise temperature, pressure and volume.

The system stores cold organic foam solution, draws it through safety valves via electric pumps before the water enters the boiler under low pressure. Sensors linked to a computer continually monitor the flow and pressure to ensure all functions stay within safe operating margins. A unique heating system superheats Hot Foam Solution, before delivery, through the insulated hose onto the weeds which results in instant control.

Operators can see the complete cellular collapse of all vegetation above the ground with the Hot Foam capping the stem and starving the root system. Weeds are instantly controlled with minimal re-growth for up to 16 weeks.

Extensive testing and endorsement of the System has been resulting in the Waipuna Hot Foam system being granted a Permit exemption because of the proven rapid biodegradability of the foam.
