MACHINES
There are two Waipuna machines for municipal urban use:
DOUBLE
BURNER MACHINE
The double burner system is designed to be operated by two people. This
truck mounted two man system is the most cost effective method for weed
control on city streets and footpaths. A mechanical boom delivery system
is also available.
The
machine uses an average 600 litres of water per hour.
Both
the double burner and single burner systems can be operated by either diesel
or LPG.
SINGLE BURNER MACHINE
Waipuna's
single burner system is particularly useful for treating unwanted vegetation
in less accessible areas such as cemeteries and parks.
The system has been designed for use by a sole operator and is easily mounted
on the back of a trailer.
